Projects

Here at Pathfinder Theatre, we dare to dream big. At the moment, we have several projects that we would like to produce within the next 18 months. The two projects at the top of our list are Unspoken, an original play by a North Carolina playwright, and First Kisses, a two-person play by Jay D. Hanagan.

We have a director, a choreographer, and one actor already lined up for Unspoken; we are currently searching for a rehearsal space and a production venue for the project — we are willing to consider a variety of spaces, including school auditoriums, dance studios, church basements, etc. Once we have located a rehearsal space and a production venue for this project, we will also be looking for at least nine more actors, a stage manager, tech staff, designers, etc.

An excerpt of Unspoken is attached below; a full-length script is available upon request.

For First Kisses, we already have two actors committed to the project; we need a rehearsal space and a production venue. First Kisses is a one-set play, so nearly any “empty space” would do; the play does contain a few (very few!) instances of profanity, so it might not be suitable for a church setting.

An excerpt of First Kisses is available at Google Books.

If you would like to participate in or assist us with these projects, or if you would like to suggest (or offer) a rehearsal space or production venue, or if you have any questions about these projects, please use the contact form to get in touch with us.
